FREEWARE LICENSE AGREEMENT
KOSHKEEN — Knob16 Remote Script for Ableton Live
Version 1.0, October 2026

Please read this agreement before using the Software. By downloading,
installing or using the Software you agree to these terms. If you do not
agree, do not use the Software.


1. DEFINITIONS

"Author" means KOSHKEEN, Latvia.

"Software" means the Knob16 Remote Script for Ableton Live, including its
Python source files, documentation and all other files distributed together
with this license by the Author.

"App" means the Knob16 application for iPhone and iPad. The App is not part
of the Software and is licensed separately under the terms shown in the App
and the applicable App Store terms.

"Official Website" means https://knob16.com and any other location the
Author explicitly designates as an official download source.


2. LICENSE GRANT

The Software is provided free of charge. The Author grants you a
non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide license to:

  a) download the Software from the Official Website only;
  b) install it on any number of computers you personally own or control;
  c) use it together with the App for any purpose, including commercial
     music production, live performance, broadcasting and teaching.


3. YOUR MUSIC

Audio, music and Live Sets you create while using the Software belong
entirely to you. No royalties, fees or credit are required.


4. RESTRICTIONS

You may NOT:

  a) redistribute, re-upload, mirror, host or otherwise make the Software
     available on any website, marketplace, library, torrent, file-sharing
     service, cloud storage link, chat server or any other channel;
  b) sell, rent, lease, lend or sublicense the Software;
  c) include the Software in any bundle, collection, pack, template or
     product distributed to others, whether free or paid;
  d) distribute modified versions of the Software or derivative works based
     on it. You may change the Software for your own private use on
     computers you own or control;
  e) use the Software, or any part of it, to build or support a product that
     competes with the App;
  f) remove or alter any copyright notice, name or this license.


5. SHARING LINKS

You are welcome to share links to the Official Website and to feature the
Software in reviews, articles, tutorials and videos.


6. OWNERSHIP

The Software is licensed, not sold. All copyrights and other intellectual
property rights in the Software remain with the Author. All rights not
expressly granted in this agreement are reserved.


7. THIRD-PARTY TRADEMARKS

Ableton and Live are trademarks of Ableton AG. The Software and the App are
independent products and are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored
by Ableton AG.


8. TERMINATION

This license terminates automatically if you breach any of its terms.
Upon termination you must delete all copies of the Software. The Author
may publish an updated version of this license for future releases of the
Software.


9. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY

The Software is provided "AS IS", without warranty of any kind, express
or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability,
fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. The Software runs
inside Ableton Live; the Author does not warrant that it is compatible with
any particular version of Ableton Live or that it will operate without
interruption or errors.


10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Author shall not
be liable for any damages, including loss of data, loss of projects or
Live Sets, equipment damage or loss of profits, arising from the use of or
inability to use the Software. Nothing in this agreement limits liability
that cannot be limited under applicable law.


11. GOVERNING LAW

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia, without
prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of
residence.
